Tae Hee Han is a professor in the Department of Organic and Nano Engineering at Hanyang University, South Korea, and a group leader in the Han Lab (Materials and Assembly for Energy and Environmental Applications, MAEE) in Seoul since 2012. His main research interests focus on the fundamental understanding of chemistry and physical behaviors of polymers and 2-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials, such as graphene and MXenes. In particular, his research group extensively studies the assembly of nanomaterials into multiscale structures, including flexible fibers and films, for thermal management applications, and energy harvesting/conversion and storage applications. He earned a BS in Fiber and Polymer Engineering from Hanyang University. He obtained his Ph.D. in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST, South Korea) in 2010. Before joining Hanyang University, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern University, USA, until 2012.
